2 # Facts about the TV series Another Reality

Did you know that…

• We’ve filmed enough for three seasons at once. The first season has been released, and the second and third seasons are currently in the editing stage. Preparations are currently underway for filming the fourth season (the script is being written).

• One story is designed for a trilogy, there are 6 such stories in total…

• The series is a completely experimental project from a remote village in the Siberian district of the Omsk region. The experiment was created to explore the entire process from film production to film distribution.

• The series is considered amateur, a feature that remains to this day, which will distinguish it from all professional projects.

• The project was filmed entirely at the director’s own expense and that of his acquaintances (patrons and investors). The director did not sleep at night and worked hard to film every minute of his beloved project.

• The series is filmed in the style of American Horror Story and Paranormal Activity, according to test audiences at screenings.

• The episodes weren’t assembled chronologically, despite filming having begun back in 2011. Ultimately, the final version of what was filmed won’t be released until the third season.

• First came the film Another Reality: Total Recall, and then the plot was expanded and the project was reformatted into a series.

• The series has a spin-off film, Cursed, from 2011 and 2016, which had limited releases in Omsk. The plots of the films were incorporated into the series and appear in episodes of the first and third seasons.
